FAQ's

DISCOVER HOW WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR JOURNEY OF REMOVING UNWANTED HAIR
  • 1. How does laser hair removal work?
Laser hair removal targets the pigment in hair follicles with a concentrated beam of light, which is absorbed and converted to heat. This process damages the follicle and delays future hair growth.
  • 2. Is it safe?
Yes, when performed by a trained professional using FDA-approved equipment, laser hair removal is considered safe. Side effects are typically minimal and may include temporary redness or mild swelling.
  • 3.What areas can be treated?
Laser hair removal can be used on almost any area of the body, including the face, chest, back, shoulders, stomach, and legs. Specific treatment areas may depend on skin type and hair color.
  • 4. How many treatments will I need?
Most clients require multiple sessions—often between 6 to 8 treatments—because hair grows in cycles. Your specialist will assess your hair and skin type to recommend a personalized treatment plan.
  • 5. What should I expect during a session?
During your session, you’ll wear protective eyewear. There is a cold air blowing machine, which will run alongside the laser, to protect the outer layers of your skin and to act as numbing the treatment area.
  • 6. How do I prepare for my treatment?
Avoid sun exposure and tanning for a couple weeks before your session. Shave the treatment area 24-48 hours in advance, and avoid waxing or plucking, as these can disturb the hair follicle.
  • 7. Are there any contraindications?
Laser hair removal might not be suitable if you have certain skin conditions, are taking photosensitive medications, or have recently used certain skincare treatments. Your consultation will cover these details to ensure safety.
  • 8. How long do results last?
Many clients experience long-lasting hair reduction. While most will see significant results after the full treatment plan, occasional maintenance sessions may be necessary.
  • 9. Can it be done on all skin types and hair?
Laser hair removal is most effective on dark hair and light skin, as the laser targets the pigment in the hair. For darker skin tones, newer lasers like Nd:YAG are safer and can be used. It can be less effective on light hair (blonde, gray, or red) and may require alternative treatments
  • 10. What if I have concerns or questions after my consultation?
Your satisfaction and safety are our top priorities. Feel free to contact us at any time with questions before or after your treatment sessions.

If you have any further questions that are not covered above please do not hesitate to get in touch or discuss them in your free consultation.
